Prayers of Obedience
Scriptures:
John 14:15 — “If you love Me keep My commandments.”
1 Samuel 15:22 — “To obey is better than sacrifice and to heed than the fat of rams.”
Deuteronomy 5:33 — “You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God has commanded you that you may live and that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.”
Prayer:
- Father thank You for calling me to a life of obedience that leads to life and peace. Thank You for the grace that teaches me to walk in Your ways. I do not want to serve You with my lips alone but with my heart and my actions. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Lord help me to trust Your commands even when I do not understand them. When my flesh wants to resist teach me to yield. When fear tries to silence my yes give me courage to stand. Let obedience become my worship and my delight. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Search my heart O God. Remove every trace of rebellion pride or self will. Let my spirit be tender to Your voice. May I respond quickly when You speak and may I never grow comfortable with disobedience. In Jesus name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
Now declare this over yourself and let it take root in your spirit
- My heart is yielded to the Lord
- I walk in His commands with joy and reverence
- Obedience is my language of love
- I trust God completely and follow His voice
- My steps are ordered by the Lord and I do not turn away
- I live to please the One who called me
- My obedience releases His blessings over my life
