Prayers For Love
Scriptures
Ephesians 3:17–19 — “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
Romans 5:5 — “The love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
John 15:9 — “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.”
Prayer:
- Father, thank You for the love that reached into the darkest parts of me and called me Yours. Thank You for not withholding Yourself but freely giving Jesus, the fullness of love made visible. Let this same love be rooted deep within me until it becomes my nature and not just my words. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Teach me to abide in Your love daily. Remove every wall I have built to protect myself from pain and disappointment, and instead let Your love be my covering. Heal every wound that has distorted how I see You or others. Let my heart overflow with compassion, mercy, and patience. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Lord, I want to love like You. Purely, unconditionally, and sacrificially. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I may walk in love even when it costs me something. Let love lead every decision, every conversation, and every step of my journey. In Jesus name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration
Now declare this over yourself with faith and confidence:
- The love of God dwells richly in me.
- My heart is rooted and grounded in His love.
- I love without fear, without pride, and without condition.
- I am a reflection of Christ’s love in the earth.
- Every thought, word, and action flows from His love in me.
- I am loved, chosen, and filled with the fullness of God.
- I abide in His love and His love abides in me.
