Prayer of Righteousness
Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
Romans 6:13 “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”
Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
Prayer:
- Father thank You for the gift of righteousness through Jesus Christ. Thank You for cleansing me from sin and clothing me with Your holiness. I no longer stand condemned because Your blood has made me new. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Teach me Lord to walk in the righteousness You have given me. Let my choices honor You and my heart reflect purity. When temptation comes remind me that I am no longer a slave to sin. Let righteousness become my nature and my desire. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Search me O God and remove every hidden thing that displeases You. Wash me daily by Your Word. Lead me in the paths that bring You glory. In Jesus name, Amen!
- Let my life be a testimony of Your mercy and power. Through me may others see what it means to be made right with God. In Jesus name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
Now declare this over yourself with boldness and belief
- I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus
- Sin no longer has power over me
- My heart is pure my mind is renewed and my spirit is clean
- I walk in holiness and truth
- The Lord delights in my obedience and my life glorifies His name
- I am covered in His righteousness and established in His peace
- I walk upright before the Lord all the days of my life
